Born in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Marie spent her childhood summers at her grandparents' beach house, developing a fascination with the sea and all its surrounding beauty, that she later captured through her camera lens. A graduate of Oregon State University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography, Marie now resides in Northern California where she photographs the beauty of the Pacific coast and its inhabitants.
